Poured from 375mL bottle into my BeerAdvocate teku. Label says this is a "saison with elderflower and rose hips"; batch no. 3.
Appearance: medium golden-yellow hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy eggshell foam atop. Seems legit.
Smell: funky with an herbal and earthy character. My brain doesn't pick out elderflower or rose specifically, but I do get a "field of wildflowers after a summer rain" vibe mixed in with the light tartness and funk.
Taste: tarter than I would have guessed from the smell, with a bit of a stone fruit flavor up front segueing into a funky finish. Herbal throughout; I rather like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: if what you are after is an herbal, funky saison, then this is going to fill that bill. I like it.
