their first canned beer i have seen, as sexy as the bottles really, and worth the price. this is an attempt to marry saison and ipa, its farmy and yeast forward like all their stuff, and tastefully subtle there like it always is, but also really hoppy, hazy, and with some hop linger on the palate, unexpected but really good, i am stoked to have sourced this. so much head on this from the can its wild, fizzy too, airy and slowly fading, hazy and straw colored, it looks great. the nose is hops sure, but its their yeast that always stands out to me, unique french saison esters, white pepper and green banana, but then some white wine character too, kiwi fruit, and green papaya, its crazy tropical, cool use of these hops, the yeast transforms them no doubt, way cool. some light herbal pine to this, but like way too delicate to be northwestern, low alpha, so juicy and lasting, wow. i wish it were lighter bodied and drier, this is grainy full without a ton of malt flavor, and its got some sweetness that works to hold the hops but it makes this slower to drink when i just want to blast off. there is light vanilla and coconut flesh to the hop profile. it lingers gorgeously on the lips and tongue, floral to me, and the quality here is just absurd again, can conditioning at expert level. i love these guys, easily one of the best new breweries in the game, and is been fun tracking their stuff down. this is mature and fresh at the same time, real flavorful, hoppy saison or yeast driven hazy depending on perspective, love it!
