Very pretty red color, almost had a pink like hue when held to light. The head has a slight pink to it as well. Pretty quickly disappeared to foamy bubbly islands and around the glass.
Nose is tart and sour, to me it lemon like tart smelling. There is a sweet smell masked underneath as well. Now it’s making me think of like a sour berry candy of some sort. The sour comes off as apple cider vinegar like but it’s nicely cut by the berry smell.
Taste surprised me, I expected much more tart than I got. This beer has some sourness to it but it’s actually very subtle. It almost tests like a really watered down lemon juice with a dash of berry juice.
Mouthfeel is very light and refreshing, almost radler like refreshing and lightness. A perfectly bright and zippy carbonation make this beer all the more refreshing.

a grisette with marionberries and boysenberries, delicate and subtly complex, not over fruited, distinctive, and really well done, the beer here was just as good this time as it was the first time through for me, i am loving everything about this place. this has a lovely raspberry rose pink color to it, a little bit of a fizzy pink froth layer from the faucet, and a nice sparkle about it. the nose is tangy rather than sweet from the fruit, tannic and summery to me, just picked, a little jammy as it sits, but super compatible with the fresh type saison yeast that drives this, white wine esters, green pear too, and some mellow fresh earthy grain, very intentional and appealing. some cool complexity in the taste too, some nice tartness from the fruit, spiciness from the yeast, and a light and even almost kind of thin body to it which helps it finish quick and refreshing despite all the layers. the fruit is very authentic, lightly floral, with hints of hibiscus and raspberry too, some minerals, and faintly doughy malt. clean on the ferment, very little residual fruit here, and good carbonation. this is smartly done, seems to have some terroir on a number of levels, and is a beer i could see benefitting from some bottle conditioning as well. very enjoyable, these guys are doing wonderful things!
