these cans are so sharp, i love their aesthetic! easy drinking, more modern type saison, highly refined like so many of their beers, simple in a good way, white wheat and bright fresh pils malt based it seems, house yeast, not as wild as their most interesting beers, but not generic either despite being clean, and lightly but distinctly hopped, enormous refreshment value and drinkability on this. mostly clear light sunny golden with an inch of permanent white head of tiny bubbles, looks can conditioned and very active, just a little film introduced by the bottom inch of the can, but it looks awesome. the nose and flavor are herbal from the hops, noble to me, a lime leaf and wet lawn saaz thing, just enough bitterness, trace tea. the yeast is lightly estery, well controlled, ever so slight suggestion of tanginess but its not bacterial, meyer lemon, minerals, slate, white bread, faint coriander seed, finishing spiciness with the hops and a super dry and instant closure to this, gone on the swallow in a rush of carbonation, so clean and tidy, each sip is new again, and this disappears quickly, i could drink a dozen of them. not as complex as i have gotten used to from fair isle, but expertly refined, pils-esque with some saison yeast, very good. stoked to drink some more of their beers tonight!
