12 oz can from Tavour. Cloudy golden pour, fizzy head, fine bubbles. Tart aroma, fruity, citrus. Taste follows with crisp, tart, fruity flavors favoring citrus. Light, funky yeasty notes throughout.

I’m a huge saison fan, but this is just watery and bland. No funk, no toast, but it really taste so watery. Maybe some white pepper but it’s not a good one.

another elite beer from these guys, this one done with myrica gale, funky and herbal and fresh and verdant while also being mature and positively bone dry. whitewashed straw yellow color super pale, delicate, and effervescent with a nice bottle conditioned inch of impossibly airy white foam on top. nots of green coconut, fresh lemonade, and jasmine to me, floral for sure with a lush springy brightness about it, neat minerality, light astringency, starchy grain character but light all the way, champagne, lemon verbena, carrot top, and soft alpine sage, really distinctive and the fair isle house yeast mixture flatters it. the flavor is citrus forward, herbal without any back end bitterness, and brings notes of new zealand sauvignon blanc, arugula, and hay. its funky without being bretty or wild, there is light tang, and its really pretty overall, intriguing and as flavorful as it is aromatic, farmy and organic and just amazing. its so drinkable too, curiously dry and refreshing for also being complex, light body but with some pillowy wheat to it, tiny persistent bubbles, each sip begs for another, the low alcohol is a bonus. loved this, borderline desert island saison for me, and up there with the best beers these folks make. always a pleasure to drink their beer. the myrica gale in this makes it incredibly distinctive. top notch.
