Clear dark amber brown with abundant beige foam. Modest aroma of cooking rice and brown bread. This version is very dark in taste but not overly bitter. Creamy carbonation is a plus. Flavors of roasted grain with a winey note and a resiny finish. Overall this is eminently quaffable and rather complex for a dark Lager. From the 16 oz can purchased at Skagit Valley Coop. Dated 10/16/25.
