Pine Bend is dark ruby and chewy just like crude oil ready to be refined by our local Pine Bend refinery! A little bitterness and alcohol warmth balances this rich malty beer with a wee bit of caramel, toffee, and touch of roast.

Brief lasting off white head. No lacing.
Aroma of caramel malts.
Taste is malt heavy, with sweet caramel and a touch of dark fruit. Sweet remnant in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel, with a touch of syrup. Okay carbonation
Sweetness is overdone, and needs more richness.
