From Hipercor. In Bavaria glass. At lunch, with papas aliñas + san jacobo. Decent, not much lemon nor taste but at least it isnt disgusting nor artificial. Easy drinking, nice carbonation

Presentation: Standard looking 500ml tall brown glass bottle. My bottle has a yellow V-shaped neck label has the words Radler on it, the main label has a picture of a Vicar Dude riding a Bicycle with the words Radler and the phrase Das Bier, Das Uns Zu Freunden Macht underneath the Coat of Arms and the word Bischofshof. The back label states Biermischgetränk aus 50% Vollbier und 50% Zitronenlimonade mit einer Zuckerart und Süßungsmitteln which means that this is actually a mix of Beer and some lemonade holy crap, I just realized that this in fact a German Lager-Shandy!??! Listed at 2.6%ABV in very small text with a Best Before Date of 12.04.05.
Appearance: Perfectly clear pale yellow body with a decent level of carbonation that supports a ¼ white head that has good staying power. Lots of lacing and a decent level of dissolved carbonation.
Nose: Euro lager nose with some Pilsener malts and a strong zesty lemon nose.
Taste: Yet again, the tastes of this Bischofshof offering reflect the nose perfectly. Strong Euro Lager start here with a zesty lemon middle and an acidic sharp finish with a clean ending.
Mouthfeel: Tempered soda like beer body that offers great respite to a dry thirst whilst retaining enough strength to give substance to this low end strength brew.
Drinkability: Fresh and lively this low-gravity offering is quite the drinker!
Overall: Does a 2.6% ABV register this as a beer? Im not sure, but its listed on the Breweries Website and I know that I have had English Milds of a similar strength - so for now I will add this Review. Very Refreshing, this would be great on a hot day. I guess this is an entry level Shandy Lager that is specially bottled for tomorrows burgeoning drinker.
