Pours into an imperial nonic a rich mahogany with a half finger off white head that is gone pretty quickly.Aromas are full on British,caramel/biscuit,sweet alcohol, and mild earthiness.Flavors of caramel and brown sugar up front on the palate followed by a hefty earthiness with underlying alcohol sweetness thru to the finish. Not overly complex but a nice sipping English-style Barleywine wich can be hard to find.
