It was inevitable: The mighty Montmorency tart (a/k/a ‘sour’) cherry starring in an authentic, Brussels-style Kriek Lambic. Our American Sour Ale features that celebrated Northern Michigan fruit along with Lactobacillus yeast — giving it a strong cherry flavor that finishes quite dry.

Poured from bottle to snifter. Pinkish-orange in color with a finger of spittle foam and nice carbonation. Aromas of grain, funk, and cherries. Nice tart cherry flavor, grass, lemon, with cracker/grain, and a kicky sour/tart finish.
