A: Pours a relatively clear pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint pale golden yellow + straw yellow colored highlights. The beer has a half finger tall sudsy soapy white head that quickly reduces to a medium sized patch of mottled very thin film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light aromas of delicate herbs + hints of light fruits and very faint citrus as well as a slight medicinal quality. Very light aromas of grainy malts and a hint of grainy sweetness.
T: Upfront there is a very light flavor of grainy malts and a hint of grainy sweetness. That is followed by an unusual light herbal + medicinal flavors as well as hint of light fruit + very faint citrus. Hints of bitterness that linger for a short period of time.
M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: Very light in mouthfeel with no detectible alcohol presence. Interesting and very unusual - I've never had another beer quite like this one and it was tough to place some of the flavors and aromas. I'm really glad I got the chance to try this one (thanks to the wife for bringing this one back from her business trip to Paris) but I'm not sure this is something I would seek out again... Who knows, maybe it grows on you after you have had it a few times.
