Pours a hazed gold with 2 fingers+ of pearl colored head. Stellar head retention & lacing
S: Grassyness & citrus
T: Follows the nose, bready dryness & lime up front. More dryness & grassyness as this beer warms up, some cattyness, some pomelo & bready sweetness, just a hint of green melon. Finishes with dryness. pomelo & grapefruit & just a touch of white grape
MF: Medium body, moderate carbonation, good balance
Solid older school IPA, the nose wasn't all that. Drinkakable enough

A-Clear golden yellow with some chill haze, below a sudsy white head with good lacing
S-Pine and citrus forward with a solid dankness
M-Resinous mouthfeel with low end carbonation and a medium body
T-Dank pine with a smooth and assertive bitterness that balances everything very well

One of the best beers on earth period.
That’s all that needs to be said but the autists don’t appreciate brevity so making sure get this word count to 150
Oh gotta complete all these lamo attributes

Some haze on the amber brew but plenty of sticky foam in the Troubadour tulip. Lush and sudsy mouthfeel. Odd aroma of green beans and soybeans with a citrus nose and a hint of the laundry basket. Green and herbal taste.
Loads of hoppy intensity but over the top. More bitterness and longer lasting than I like. Packaged in a 16 oz can and purchased at the big box. From the same 12/29/21 batch.

16 oz can date 12/31/24 consumed from a tulip glass on 2/3/25. Yellow, a little haze, no particulates. Nice stiff white foam that leaves a decent amount of lacing and leaves a remnant film until the glass is drained several minutes later. Smell and taste are the same: both are exactly what you might expect from the advertised hop combination. Some bitterness, but not a bitter-bomb and certainly more bitterness than a lot of the hazy IPAs, for example. Medium body mouthfeel with pretty lively carbonation.
Buy this if you are a fan of nelson and citra, because this highlights that combination but otherwise it is a fairly standard "good" IPA.

Remember when you were 12 and your mama made you a run of the mill grilled cheese? That’s this beer. Straight up just one that satisfies you without hitting you over the head until you see stars. Nothing crazy. Not Carmen Electra in a 2 piece in the 90’s... Just an ok beer.
Yep!
