From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This decent little
ale pours an amber tinged golden with a nice head of white
foam that subsides to a thick ring with subtle lacing. Nose of
orange and subtle lime zest, subtle candy malt, and subtle
grain notes amongst some light esters. Flavors follow the nose
with subtle candy and light citrus notes along with light cracker
and subtle grain notes and dashed with candy sugar in the front
and rear of the taste with faint herbal hop notes. Nice mouth feel;
medium light carbonation that is lightly prickly, medium light body,
and a moderately dry finish showing light sweetness and herbal notes.
Overall, a decent little saison.
