Gunnel Imperial Honey Lager
Dead Low Brewing

From the brewery in a growler and served in a snifter. This solid
little lager pours a amber tinged golden color with a quickly
fizzling head of white foam that appears and then falls to a razor
thin ring. Nose of honey sweet malt, medium strong grain notes,
and some subtle orange zest. Flavors surpass the nose with a
lightly breaded malt drenched in honey with subtle orange
notes and a prominent grain note on the rear. Decent mouth
feel; medium light body, light carbonation that is just barely there,
and a moderately dry lightly sweet grain heavy finish.

Overall, a solid go at an imperial. Could use some tweaking on
the carbonation. Easy to drink, would be perfect on a hot
summer day.
