Freshly squeezed limon, hundreds of pounds of cucumber were pureed and strained so all was left was its natural Pepino Juice, we blended poblanos, jalapeños and some habaneros that softly kiss the pallet and reward us with a nice warm kick in the back of the throat.

Bright gold, ample foam, thin skim, spotty lace. Big cucumber aroma, as advertised. Taste is savory and salty, with a lot of cucumber flavor, a bite of lime tartness, chile heat and mild hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied, crisp with a lot of salinity. There’s no corn in this, no tortilla chip, salsa or anything like that at all.
It’s pretty straightforward, and showcases the cucumber/pepino well. Michelada is a savory, spicy beer cocktail much like a bloody mary, for the uninitiated. I love them, and drink them frequently. This one creatively omits the tomato/Clamato for the savory and intensely cucumbery pepino melon. Paired well with homemade tamales, thanks Liz!

Aroma is big salt and seasoned tortilla chips. The flavor is fruit, malts, mild sweetness in the middle and an odd salty/tortilla chip/almost the spicy seasoning put on tropical fruit finish.
