This delicious red ale is blended with the perfect amount of vanilla that gives it a great balance of caramel, malt and sweet vanilla.

Sampled in a taster glass from draft at O'Toole's on November 1, 2019. A light cream ale crusher. Slightly red tinted with a golden haze. Brewed with Vienna, Superior pils and Red X malts and bittered with Bravo hops. Blended with proprietary vanilla extract.

Draft at Randolph Tavern.
Saturated amber with good clarity, rapid carb trails and a nice looking head of creamy foam. A ton of chunky lacing, lasting surface coverage.

Soft vanilla aroma, mildly sweet marshmallow impression.

First few sips were pretty astringent, hop bitterness is a little jarring against the prominent vanilla taste. Medium bodied with ample carb, finishes dry.

Overall it was a little disjointed, the bitterness seemed a little out of place for the style. Would be interested to try something different from them later on.

16 oz draft poured into a pint glass shows a clouded, orangish body briefly supporting a proud 1" head of tight white bubbles that disapates to a thin persistent cap and edge-hugging ring and leaves artistic lacing from top to bottom.

Vanilla aroma is pleasant and dominant with a slight cinnamon suggestion, reminiscent of a baked sugar coated danish.

The flavor misses the mark; unless the mark is bitter back of the palate vanilla aggressiveness, in which case they hit it out of the park.

Mouthfeel is soft and leans a lighter medium.

Overall a disappointing first taste from this brewery. I'll just have to visit in person.
