L: dark brown porter with a foamy khaki head that dissipates quickly; chunky sludge floats and clouds the beer up
S: roasted grain, coffee, vanilla, chocolate
T: chocolate, nutty grain, roasted barley, coffee, vanilla bean, caramel, earthy hops
F: medium body, ample carbonation, bitter finish that seems to be from the vanilla rather than from the hops
O: this didn’t meet expectations; it has some good things going for it, but oddly the flavors seem to clash more than meld together
