Cloudy amber body with a tan cap that doesn't stick around for long. Hazelnut, toast, and malt nose, not very exciting. Taste is watered down, hazelnut lead I guess. Feel is a watery bland matrix with nothing that stands out, just nothing after initial part of the sip. Glad the review character count was removed for this one!

Two Red Ales in this mix pack. The addition of hazelnut certainly helps makes up for the lack of solid malt backbone. Still watery, and forgettable.

Pours a clear brown color. Thin off-white head momentarily forms on the beer before dissipating completely. Aroma has notes of lightly toasted bread, malts, and a very light nuttiness vaguely resembling hazelnuts. Its honestly hard to get much on the nose since its so subtle.
Taste is much of the same - notes of toasty malts, nutty malts, and light earthy hops on the back end. The hazelnuts might be there, but honestly its hard to tell since the malts are kind of nutty themselves and there is not a distinct hazelnut flavor. Its also has a distinct watery quality to it that I am not really enjoying. Feel is light, a bit rough, with prickly carbonation.
This is more in line with what I was expecting from these beers - its watery, lacking flavor and a bit rough.
