Was lucky enough to get this beer and a few others on a recent work trip to Reno. The Untappd description was “Kettle soured Gose with Makrut Lime Sea Salt and lime zest.”
Poured a pale-yellow clear color with 3-to-4 fingers of frothy-to-fizzy off-white head. Could see plenty of fast-moving bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. Decent retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled lime, kiwi, green grape, salt, pear, green apple and hints of herbal. Even better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted better than the nose. This was good. In order got lime, kiwi, green grape, salt, pear, green apple, hints of herbal and light pine. (Taste - 4.25)
Light body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just a really sold Gose. Nice. (Overall - 4.25)
