Our weissbier is a German inspired wheat bear showcasing yeast forward flavours of banana with a hint of clove. Traditional of Bavarian beer gardens, we brewed one for you using all Canadian ingredients. Cheers!

Appearance: Poured with two fingers of head that produced a decent amount of lace and stuck around decently well. Body is a cloud yellow of which no further details can be gleaned. More lace would have got it the perfect score here.
Smell: Ample banana with a slight clove and earth undertone. Potency is there and doesn't need a lot of warming.
Taste: Very simple and not a lot of transitioning, starts with some banana with the touch of clove, and which point the clove and earth ends and that's it. It's decent.
Mouthfeel: The carbonation is really nice and frothy, after the aftertaste is a nice mix of predominantly banana, but the downside is the transitioning is just a short journey.
Drinkability: Light bodied and refreshing, but not watery. Settles down extremely well and while it's a little gassy, it's a solid hefe.
Final Thoughts: I always like seeing Hefe get some local love, and it isn't as commonly a brewed style now a days here in southern Ontario. This one's solid, and would be one I wouldn't mind seeing break into the LCBO around here during the summer.
