On tap at Shelter Distilling
A: Pours reddish copper amber with a frothy khaki head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little
S: Stone fruit, tropical notes, prickly pear definitely shows up, a little citrus, toasty bready malt, and toffee sweetness.
T: Fruity, definitely get the prickly pear and it's almost watermelon-y notes, plus bonus stone fruit, peach, apricot, and plum, a bit tropical of tropical fruit, mango and passion fruit, ripe citrus, orange and a hint of lime, subtle earthy tones, toasty bready malt, toffee sweetness.
M: Just a touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Sipping this whole sitting on a brisk patio after seeing the Young Dubliners just around the corner. Super unique, he prickly pear brings it all together. I dig it.
