Blind Review:
Look: This one is translucent, pale gold and pretty hazy. Big, frothy, white head with streaks of lacing. No visible carbonation. It looks like an attractive NEIPA.
Smell: Crack the can and this beer screams pina colada. Coconut and pineapple sweetness with some brighter, lighter and more acidic notes of berry, peach and orange. This is like a melange of fruit. Juicy fruit bubble gum. So much damn fruit. Awesome nose.
Taste: Follows suit very closely. Possibly a milkshake IPA, definitely with coconut. Also got a bit of the bubble gum fruitiness on the flavor too. The hops come through a lot. There’s some dryness and bitterness on the finish. Seems like a mix of some new school tropical fruity/grassy hops and something old school like Simcoe. Nice balance, not too sweet at all, despite initial impressions. But if you don’t like coconut additions to your IPA, you won’t like this beer.
Feel: Low to medium carbonation. Smooth and creamy.
Overall: Definitely an IPA with coconut. I’m thinking this one is high ABV (over 8.5%). This is right up my alley. Big on coconut without being artificial, and the hops really jump out too. Easily on the best Milkshakes I’ve had. That explains the high rating.

Wow!! When they list coconut...they mean coconut!! It’s in the aroma...in the taste....in the... Totally took me by surprise. Also whiffs of pineapple, pear, orange and light floral. Tastes follows the nose with the lactose creaminess present. A very unique session and enough to get me writing reviews again! Multiples are a bit tough IMO but one per session is spot on!! These guys are good!!

Sweet tropical hoppy, fresh coconut, hint of orange citrus, and hint of pineapple nose on this one! Taste follows with sweet and subtle citrus and a nice kick of coconut on the finish! Nice...I like that the coconut is in your face a bit! This is a little thin for a double for my preferences, but feels good on the palate. This is coconut goodness!
