Thanks, Chad!
Was lucky enough to have this and four others sent to me by Chad. Was probably more excited about this one than any other beer he sent. Untappd called this “Pastry Stout collaboration with Bottle Logic Brewing. Loaded with Tahitian and Madagascar Vanilla beans, along with vanilla coffee.”
Poured a pitch-black color with 2-to-3 fingers of tan frothy head. Could see a few bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Very good spotty lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled black coffee, vanilla, maple syrup, chocolate syrup, milk chocolate, caramel, toffee and cacao. Not as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. First thought was how smooth it was for 14.0 pct .ABV. In order got black coffee, vanilla, chocolate syrup, maple syrup, milk chocolate, caramel, cacao and hints of dark fruit. (Taste - 4.25)
Full body. Sticky texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 5.00)
Damn. This was delicious. Glad I got to try it. (Overall - 4.50)

Can dated 12/30/20 into a tulip.
L: Pours jet black with limited tan head that dissipates quickly and left no lacing.
S: Some molasses when its still cold, but vanilla overtakes it and dominates as it warms.
T: You'd better like vanilla, cause there's lots of it. Undertones of coffee. Finishes with mild bitterness and some sweetness, sweetness lingers.
F: Medium bodied with an oily texture. ABV is very well integrated, barely perceptible.
O: Its a good beer, at my personal preference limits for sweetness. Glad I had it, but also glad I only bought one can.

The appearance is pitch black with a brown head. The aroma you get hit with is vanilla, and hints of cocoa nibs. The flavor is just about the same, but you can definitely feel the alcohol. For 14% the beer is fairly smooth with a creamy mouthfeel.
