Thanks, Chad!

Was lucky enough to have this and four others sent to me by Chad. Liked the Slice beers he sent to me previously, so was looking forward to trying this one too. Untappd description was “Hazy Double IPA collaboration with our homies at Moksa Brewing Company. Strata, Citra, Idaho 7, and Simcoe hops create saturated flavors and aromas of peach sorbet, candied mango, sticky pine, stone fruit, and red starburst.” That sounded delicious.

Poured a hazy medium yellow color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Could see just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. Such a good-looking beer. (Overall - 5.00)

Citra jumped out on the smell. Also red grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, Strata, pine, peach blossom, strawberry, Hawaiian fruit punch, Idaho 7, raspberry iced tea and herbal. Just as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)

Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose. In order got Citra, red grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, Strata, strawberry, Hawaiian fruit punch, papaya, peach, pine, raspberry iced tea, Idaho 7, herbal, garlic and lingering peppery spice (probably from the Simcoe). Grew on me as it went down. (Taste - 4.25)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, sweet finish. (Feel - 4.75)

Just an excellent hazy DIPA. Really grew on me each sip. (Overall - 4.25)
