Appearance: Brilliantly clear, light gold. Frothy white head with good retention. Fast rising bubbles.
Aroma: Strong funky barnyard-like aroma.
Flavor: Sour and dry. Same funky barnyard taste as aroma. Some graininess in the finish. Very little peach flavor. Retrained bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Light and effervescent. Drying to the end. Short, tart finish.
Overall: I bought this hoping for a little more peach flavor; unfortunately, the Brett-like funky aroma kinds of overwhelms it. Quite dry. For fans of beers with a tart/sour note or Brett fans, this is a solid choice - give this a try. I'm not a big fan of this style; prefer a more subtle Saison.

If you like that funky Brett quality then this definitely works. Perfectly name. On top of the Brett is just a memory of peach. Excellent example of a fruit beer and I don't like the average fruit beer. Subtle. Gives Lindemans a run for its money. Probably the best example of class I have tasted outside Europe.

375ml bottle - $14.99 at Halfway Crooks Beer in Atlanta, Georgia.
*Their website currently lists the beer as being 7.1% ABV, whereas the label shows 7.60%.
Appearance: Pours a pale straw-hued body with a little trace of haziness. Thinning, bubbly white head.
Smell: A touch creamy, a touch tangy with an uncommonly fresh, just-cut peach aroma paired with a supple bleu cheese note.
Taste: Subtly sweet with a low degree of baguette breadiness. Incredibly beguiling floral, fresh fruitiness from the peaches. Lightly phenolic spiciness. Slightly pungent, almost unctuous, yet rather likable bleu cheese note. It has that austere rustic vibe, but also a touch of peachy delicacy. Splash of perry through the drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Well carbonated, active and tingly.
Overall: Refreshing, funky and soundly fruity. Top-notch, though I expect no less from HC.
