from UnTappd and, I presume, Mill Brewery's website--
"Leaning into the changing seasons, Southern Tilt Red IPA bursts with flavours of stewed stone fruits, juicy mandarin, and zesty citrus peel. A caramel sweetness and biscuity malt backbone keep it grounded, while a mist of tangy grapefruit bitterness leaves a dry, refreshing finish."

Hoppy like many an AIPA, Southern Tilt is redder than most reds; hence I choose the Red Ale styling.
Southern Tilt Looks inviting, big head and a robust red. Smells are fruity, but also the hops add citrus zest. Tastes are balanced in the attack, but hops dominate the mid-palate and control the finish. Medium-mouthed.
As for the good Overall Hugs I give to Mill Brewery, that's because they've done pretty well for being so young; given their rough start of opening a few months before Covid hit. Mill has its original production house and recently opened a full gastropub in a hotel; helping to revive this inner suburb of Melbourne. Mill has a 180 beer portfolio per UnTappd and seems heavy in the IPA space... but not afraid to venture elsewhere. Cheers, Mates !

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
