a: dark burnt brown color with some deep dark ruby red notes. looks a bit muddy. thin tan film for a head
s: not too much on the nose. clove, nutmeg, some generic pumpkin and gourd notes. a touch of cinnamon and caramel
t: mellow caramel and very faint dark chocolate notes. very faint pumpkin and squash notes along with some cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. slight pumpkin pie spice quickly, then a sweetness, that i assume is from the lactose
m: fuller-medium mouthfeel with low-medium carbonation
o: decent. i didn't have much expectation. it's not bad, but i think it's a bit mellow - almost like a brown ale with some 'pumpkin' notes
