Poured a pale gold; excellent clarity; tight white head; OK cap retention; solid ring; some suds lace. Peach nose. Mild peach flavor; firm malt base, but rather weak. Light body; moderate minus carbonation; thin, watery body. Nice aroma, but the taste is weak… Another watery IPA in the big sky state.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 6/12/24.
Appearance: rich golden hue with a dash of haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: rather sweet aroma, with a bit of grapefruit, pine, and earthiness to the hops. Not bad — a pretty classic American IPA profile.
Taste: a bit on the sweet side, like the aroma, but that’s no bad thing in this case. It’s well balanced, and the citrusy notes, while not exactly juicy, play well with the sweet elements. I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is actually a pretty solid, classic, American IPA. I like the fact that it’s neither overly bitter, nor particularly high alcohol/sweetness. A good quaff.

Citra Simcoe & Cascade hops in play
Pours an effervescent gold with one finger of pearl colored head. Good head retention & lacing
S: Tropical fruit & citrus
T: Follows the nose, dryness, tangerines , green melons up front. A little peach mixes in with green melon, tangerine & dryness as this beer warms up. Finishes with passion fruit, tangerine & a little lime, plus peach
MF: Medium body, fairly lively carbonation, good balance
Pretty easy to drink, a serviceable IPA

16oz can from Tavour. Light amber body, small airy head. Light hoppy aroma, classic IPA hop profile. Taste reveals a little bit of caramel malts, light woody, earthy malts. Harkens back to the early days. Nice!

Medium lighter caramel body, one finger white head. Sweet, caramel, mild hoppy citrus. Grainy. Not particularly balanced, lot of malt. Medium lighter bodied, decent carbonation, nothing particularly interesting to see here.

new operation out of billings here, already doing pint cans in four packs, and they look sharp too. i enjoyed all three of their beers my brother in law brought down to share. this one is a pretty robust ipa for its modest abv, some good bitterness to it, a little raw and unrefined, but the hop profile is great, and there is nice balance to it, something i could drink a fair few of. its hard to pick out the hops, but this mix of aromatic fruitiness and green bitterness in the taste suggests a mix of strains, maybe a mosaic or a citra up front and a columbus or a falconers flight or something on the back end, but its less about breaking this one down for me as it just is about drinking it. i get ever so slight oxidation, but the cans are fresh, not sure whats up with there, but there is an almost papery layer in with the malt. its dry overall, with some beefy body for its size, and a fresh citrus element almost all the way through it. i like the bitter swallow and the frothy feel, and i think this is good for an upstart brewery, its already ahead of the curve and likely to only improve from here. its awesome that the billings scene is booming, im sure these guys will do well. this looks and tastes a little more modern than most of what else is happening up there too...
