16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, lively carbonation, towering fluffy white head. Clean biscuity aroma. Taste is wonderful, bready, malty, dry, mild sweetness. So delicious! Really knocked my socks off.

Pale gold with very good clarity; four fingers of rocky white head; very good cap retention; heavy ring, heavy minus lacing. Light floral hops nose. Very light malt taste; very light hop bitterness. Watery body; moderate carbonation; no DMS. Overall very little here to comment on; very little malt and hops; like drinking rose water.

Light yellow bodied, one finger white head. Too sweet, not crisp or dry enough for me. Solid hop presence nonetheless, a nice northwestern twist on the pilsner style.

a light and drinkable modern pils with a distinct hop profile to it that doesnt seem particularly noble in origin to me, almost more of a bitter grapefruit presence, more northwestern than european, but only modestly dosed, so its a nuance not a dominant feature. the lagering is crisp and clean and the beer has some snap and good refreshment value. its quite clear and bright in the glass, looks really pale but isnt thin or too minimal in texture when i drink it. there are some neat minerals in here too, an earthiness that brings out the best of the grain, which is fresh here and simple. sometimes it can be hard to make beer this light also appear balanced, and their can really be an art to simplicity, and i think this shows a higher degree of brewer competence than many of their others on tap when i was in. just different enough to stand out, but still obviously a true to style pils. great with the tacos in here, especially the spicy and tangy smoked chicken taco, this beer seems built for that. craving another one of each right now!
