Appearance:
Beautiful. Pretty much ideal. Gorgeous blonde, clear but still rich in color. Nice pillowy white head.

Aroma:
Smells a little lemony and very faintly of ginger.

Mouthfeel:
Medium body. Well carbonated. Clean but substantive.

Taste:
Mildly lemony. No ginger flavor. Clean and substantive. Doesn’t have the spice note some blondes have and I’m glad.

Overall:
I wish it were this without the lemon. Unique, but not strong enough in one direction for me.

i absolutely loved this, easy drinking, summery, refreshing, and distinctive without being over flavored or forced, a krystallweizen, which you never really see, done with ginger and lemon, although i can appreciate a lot more lemon than ginger in the nose and taste, not even close, and im cool with that, so bright and drinkable, lovely wheat character, really nice beer for hot weather, and pairs nicely with sushi too, no surprise. blonde to light honey color, not quite perfect clarity but close, big bubbles, a decent white head on it slowly fading, and a cool nose thats zesty lemon, lightly spicy ginger, and minerality, less of the yeast character than i expect in this style, maybe faint green banana happening, earthy pale wheat, american as much as german to me i suppose, but it has some older world charm too, subtle, approachable. the flavor is the same, juicy lemon but without acidity, light ginger bringing up the earthy wheat, a nice addition and nice and carefully dosed, does well with fresh fish, salty soy sauce, even wasabi, seems built for sushi! light in body for being wheat based, not creamy like a hefe, more snappy almost cool fermented too, crisp and refreshing, the lemon aids that. better carbonation than it shows in the glass, off dry with the lemon carried on by some grain through the swallow, light champagne character, lemon hard candy, and the faintest spice thing, orange peel, coriander, and white tea. delicate and delicious, not quite as scrubbed as some kristallweizen types are, but i like everything about this. cool to see some draft from these guys in idaho too! great beer for high summer, i dont miss more fermentation character.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Straw colored pour, nice high frothy head, fine carbonation. Light lemony aroma, some bubblegum. Weizen notes are faint, banana, the lemony flavors are more prominent. Seems closer to a kölsch than a weizen. Very refreshing.

Pale gold pour with good clarity; rocky white head; some cap retention; spotty lace. Light lemon nose with a whiff of ginger. Taste is light lemons and clean wheat bill; barely any ginger and no bitterness. Light body, moderate minus carbonation, clean light feel. Easy drinking and refreshing; I’d gladly drink again.
