500ml bottle picked up at Growlers on Main in Polson, MT
Poured into Bissell Brothers tulip
P- black w/ a 1f tan hd; fairly quick recession
N- medium; sweet dark fruit and wine notes, funny enough; some cocoa as well
T- smooth cocoa, sweet dark fruits (black cherry, plums), tannic/barrel notes, and a touch of vanillin; alcohol is extremely well-hidden; simpler profile than anticipated and the flavors aren't quite what I expected from the rum barrel-aging, but tasty in its own right
Mf- velvety smooth; light-med bod w/ soft-med carb
O- pretty solid- I dig it; pleasant profile and mouthfeel; drinks well for the abv; with that being said, I'd probably pass on trying it again in the future in favor of more memorable offerings

A - Dark brown pour with dense caramel brown, frothy, bubbly lacing.
S - Toasted cocoa and green apple on the nose.
T - Light cacao and rum with a little bit of green apple while finishing on the sweeter side.
M - Medium body and silky texture.
O - An easy sipper that hides the ABV extremely well.
