500ml bottle at share. Dark brown yields a few bubbles. Big, boozy aroma, woody, malty. Taste is malty and sweet, molasses, woody with a good amount of heat. Slight bitterness at the finish. Silky feel.

Pours an effervescent mahogany with a pinky of tan head, falls away quickly, viscous
S: Figs, raisins, dark cherries, some barrel, some faint booze
T: Follows the nose, pretty dry, molasses notes & woody hops up front. Some plums sneak in as this beer warms up, along with figs, dark cherries, woody & leafy hops, a little treacle as well & the barrel opens up more giving raw oak & a subtle booze coating on the tongue. Finishes with oaky dryness, a kiss of Sour mash, figs, dark cherries & woody hops
MF: Fairly chewy, low carbonation, warming
Tasty solid take that is easy to drink despite the heft. It could easily pass as an English Barleywine
