Drank at Oak Park Micro Brew Review 2022. A fruity and decent NEIPA that has been around (704 UnTappd ratings.) does not have the bitter after-taste of too many NEIPAs, although is not distinguished either.
As for my micro-review of Burning Bush, I am struck by how many micros there are in that larger neighborhood and eastward. More concentrated per capita than anyplace I can think of, except maybe around Portland's downtown. But Burning Bush is young (probably three years old) and does indicate on its website that it is not too much more than a happy couple who also likes to stage musical events and, of course, brew. But for being yet another Northside community hangout and seems to have made it through Covid, Burning Bush deserves these Overall Hugs from me.

Pours a light muddyorange. Nose is strong mango and pineapple, after a sip, the smell of grass come thro8gh as well. Wel carbonated with a bitter finish. I do question if mango juice was added because it's really strong as a flavor, but not in a bad way. The hop bitterness balances things out as ypu drink.

The above review is right, in that it tastes as if mango or papaya juice has been added. This is both in the taste, overly sweet, and in the mouth feel, too thick. Again sad to say but so many better beers/breweries very close by....

16oz undated can shows a pastel, dirty yellow, cloudy body, that glows orange when backlit, and almost floats a thin, tight-bubbled white cap leaving a couple of laced bubbles behind on the glass.
Aroma is strong pineapple with hints of lime, green onion, and black dirt. The flavor meets the pineapple, drops the dirt, and adds grapefruit. Tasty, like a shandy: beer mixed with fruit juice.
Mouthfeel is light and clean.
Overall its not much to look at, very fruity, and not my preferred style, and do not let it warm.
