like their pils in here, this isnt real clean from a lagering standpoint. neat that they are doing a few lagers in here, but these come in a step below professional in quality, but this isnt bad, a richer amber malt base leaves some sugar behind which reduces drinkability for me, but the flavors are good for the most part, toasted bread, brown sugar, a little honey, and some minerals in the finish. looks pretty, nice and clear, also like their pils, with a short white head from the tap. some light nutty character makes it autumnal to me, very mellow bittering hops at the end. its immediately familiar, a little generic, but not bad, just a hard beer to get excited about, even the very best beers in this style rarely turn me on much, but i appreciate them doing some lagering. i thought for an operation to take a chance on this location the beers would have to be absolute money, we have had at least two breweries not make it work here, but the beer was just average for me. they are still new and figuring it out it seems, i wish them luck, we had fun in here but there beers did not give me a ton of confidence in them overall. a decent amber lager here, should be cleaner than it is.
