On draft at Fat Dog's Grill and Pub. Pours opaquely hazy deep amber/green color with a thin off white head with poor retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing and some streaming carbonation on the glass. Aromas and flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, wood, pine, bread dough, biscuit, toast, herbal, floral, grass. Good sized pine/rind bitterness on the finish. Medium plus body and medium carb. Good sized lingering sticky/resins with creamy oat. Some astringency after the finishing, but not too overwhelming. Minimal warming 7% or lingering hop burn. Weak aromas improved as it warmed. Aromas had a fair amount of juiciness, flavors were more piney and earthy. Not really a good attempt at an NEIPA but serviceable if you like pine a lot. A bit too bitter but drinkable. Okay overall.
