Beer #21 in the KALEA Beer Advent Calendar. 330 ml bottle served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Clear pale golden color with lots of bubbles and a small half finger of head that fizzles away reasonably quickly.
Smell - Some grain, light grassy notes, not a whole lot else but decently intense for the style.
Taste - Quite watery, light bit of grain and some grassy hops to close. Not a whole lot going on but nothing off. A touch more bitter than expected which is a mild plus.
Mouthfeel - Light bodied, watery and with good expressive carbonation.
Overall - Better pilsners abound, but this isn't half bad either. Lots of worse beer has been made too.
