50cl bottle best-by dated this month.
Look: dark cola brown, deep merlot red against light, with a modest and short-lived tan head. No lacing and looks quite flat after 5 minutes.
Smell: gentle roast, malt, copper.
Taste: pleasantly roasty, with a bit of metal but no cloying sweetness and a decent hop character.
Feel: a bit watery, could be a session stout.
Overall: I came in worried I was going to get a Schwarzbier, but this reads as more of a proper stout. Nothing mind-blowing, but I would also take this over Guiness 3 times out of 5.

From the half liter bottle, it pours a clear very dark brown with a nice light brown head that slowly reduces and leaves some lacing. The nose gets roasted malts. The mouth follows with a lightly bitter roasted malt brew that leaves a light bitterness in the mouth afterward.
