Look: 4.00 l 5.00
Sufficiently hazy, forms a nice dense head, fairly good retention and lacing on the glass. Color is a little bit lighter in than their Hidden Well Hazy, pull tab as much more haze due to the dry hopping

Smell: 4.24 l 5.0
Sweet oranges, mandarin, A little bit of grapefruit later. It has a very large nice citrusy aroma.

Taste: 4.25 l 5.0
On the first sip there's an immediate classy bitterness. Says West Coast... But that fades quickly as you enter and let it warm... The citrus orange aroma's hit in the aftertaste... Nice layering---the lingering sweetness emerges and begins to steal the show... It's not in the malt per say It's the aroma and the sense of sweetness that make the magic happen. This one can't sit still: the early hop bitterness, The very pleasant citrus aromas in the late pallet sweetness, are in a way that is brilliant .

Mouthfeel: 4.0 l 5.0
Not overly heavy, that citrus orange smell with a white and pink grapefruit bitterness transfers directly to the palate.. You might also notice that it is soft, and when you're halfway through you forgotten all about that first sip bitterness...

Overall: 4.0 l 5.0
Being just on the bottom edge of Imperial style it hides the alcohol well... It's a double IPA... I used the word the bitter word a number of times... But you can't really say that this is a bitter beer... It's well balanced hazy with a soft mouth feel excellent aromas that arrived to the palate with sufficient malt backbone... Just a well-made hazy... It's unclear if the haziness comes from dry hops or a little wheat oat assistance... That really doesn't matter in this case...Sufficiently strong... Hazy and bright, Americanized enough to hold its own against the having hitting Imperial IPAs that are pushing 9%... And in many ways more aromatic and tasty than their classic hidden well.
