Actually I already reviewed this when I lived in Poland, and I thought it was sweeter then their Jasne and Pelne versions, and not as good. Somehow I managed to find it in my current country for about 70 pence, let's see if it has improved or if my tastes have changed.
6%, love it.
Looks great in the glass, big smooth head. Sweet malty aroma. Though head dies down fairly fast.
Today I do actually taste the hops...and also lots of honey and sweet malt. Mouth feel and taste is a little syrupy. Hops taste like dates and prunes.
So yes, I basically agree with my review before...this is just too sweet and not dry or bitter enough, the Jasne and Pelne versions are definitely superior. It has potential to be great, but somehow the flavours don't really balance, and for a pilsner there is almost no bitterness. Great value though.

Copenhagen 23/7 2023. 50 cl can from Edeka Center Bremen Hastedt, Pfalzburger Strasse, Bremen. Green and white can with a couple of gold medals of obscure origin celebrating Braukunst.
Pours clear yellow with a huge white head. A bit bubbly. Settles thin patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with sweet malty odor mingling with a light salty scent. Sweet pale malts, bread, cereals and cardboard. Whiff of salt cracker.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is a tad watery. Sweetish. Lingers shortly. Finish is watery.
Sweetish watery, pale lager.
