We are absolutely thrilled to be launching our first grape ale this month. Glou Glou (the French natural wine term that essentially means glug glug) is the first of many grape ales that we will be releasing. The grapes came from Trail Estate and were used to make their 2019 white Pet Nát. A side by side pairing of the wine and beer is highly recommended. We blended 2 red wine barrels together that were filled with aged imperial mixed ferment saisons on grape skins for 3 months prior to packaging. Dry, effervescent and moderately tannic. Orange wine vibes, citrus rind, cardamon, yellow plum and a faint herbal note jump across the palate. Pairs well with Clementine Catering cheese plate.
