Served in Lagunitas mason jar from a crowler filled at Black and Gray brewpub.
Pours a clear gold-brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises heavy clove, light banana peel, light coriander, light cracked wheat, bubblegum, and a touch of buttery biscuit. The taste brings in more of the same, with a slightly stronger banana contingent. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a wet feel. Not a bad hef, I'd say, but one that needs a bit of polish before I'd wanna order another.
