This was the thirteenth iteration of All Together that I was able to get my hands on and like many of the others, it was via a trade. In addition, this was the first beer that I had from Four City and it was quite nice and one of the better takes on this, as I've gone through all of my All Togethers one night at a time. Full and balanced, this didn't have a ton of flavor to it but there was enough here to enjoy without having to rush things along!
The pour to this was nice - golden, a bit waxy in appearance, and quite bright. Not a lot of head topped it off but it was quietly and subtly steady as it held it's own for a while and offset the liquid quite nicely. Very little lacing on the side of my pint glass. with just a moderate soapy splotch about a quarter of the way down the side of my pint glass. Lots of oats, Citra, and bright hops in the nose as the taste was just as fruity, pithy, and reminiscent of a West Coast beer. A bit of yeast, Mosaic dankness, and dank vegetables emerged once this fully warmed up with some faint broccoli and bitter lemon and grapefruit rounding out the taste. Slightly sticky, full on the palate, and somewhat deep, there wasn't a lot of carbonation here as the taste lingered but was pleasing to someone like me who enjoys a heavy-natured beer.
Of course, this wasn't heavy in the booze department as the alcohol was barely noticeable. Canned on 5/11 with "THANKS S.A.M." written underneath that, this was as fresh as could be with it tasting like I got it from a tap. This was a fun beer that had a label with a nice touch, with all of the bartenders listed on it. Looking forward to seeing what else Four City releases!
