Wherever I may Roam, a great Metallica track. Roam the beer, an incredible pastry stout. It is labeled as monster cookie inspired and it doesn't let down. So much peanut butter going on and a full on sugar bomb.

Very dark brown appearance with a nice light brown head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a mild peanut butter and chocolate. Taste is a very pleasant blend of peanut butter and chocolate. Great feel

Thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml capped bottle into a Founders snifter. Shared with shcen9303.
Pours like syrup. Huge oily head with no lace. Nose is brownie, black forest cake, molasses, vanilla, and chocolate. Like I'm about to drink dessert. Beer opens cloyingly sweet. I get fudge, syrup, vanilla, chocolate, and straight sugar. More sweetness in the middle with layers of chocolate cake and molasses. Same in the finish. This one makes my teeth hurt. Body is full with low carbonation. Thick and chewy on the palate and goes down warm, boozy, and slick with a lingering aftertaste. It's dense.
I'm not sure what's going on here but its not good. I don't think I've ever had a sweeter beer. Too over-the-top for me.

So I had never heard of Lua until a month or so ago, two beers in and I am really impressed. Pitch black body with brown hints, brown tiny ring. Smell is incredible: peanut butter cup with huge pb depth including a hint of salt to the nuttiness. Taste last forever on the palate, and for 7/8 of the sip it is huge gooey peanut butter cookie with semi-sweet chocolate and light booze, but the last 1/8 is where the granola finally makes its appearance, a earthy robust bite to end on after lush pb cup, but it works enough, curious if this was to counteract any hints of metal pb can often bring. I keep sipping this because I can't believe how well this was done. Feel is smooth, sticky, moderately warm and surprisingly light.
