Thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml capped bottle into a Founders snifter. Shared with schen9303.
Clear pale goldenrod color. Thin legs, no head. Nose is oak, funk, peppercorn, light lemon zest, a vinous tartness, hiding a very soft sulfur presence. Very aromatic. Beer opens light white grape notes. I get oak, cobwebs, peppercorn, and hay in the middle. More oak with a lemony, grape skin tartness towards the end. Accented finish, puckering aftertaste. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down crisp, accented, and refreshing. Lingering aftertaste.
This is excellent. Really worth trying.
