Forager Brewing in Rochester will always hold a special place in our hearts. Not only are they good friends, but it’s the place co-founders Scott, Whitney, and Zack met. Over a year ago, the fine folks from Forager came down to Des Moines to brew up a beer destined for barrels.
The result is Devil’s Nest, a robust triple bock that aged for fourteen months in Henry McKenna ten-year bourbon barrels. We hope you enjoy this beer in the company of great friends.

Bottle pour; looks like a stout it's so dark. Delicate dark fruit notes and barrel abound. Body is reminiscent of great bottle conditioned quads. Finish has just enough heat
