Can poured into pint glass. Solid head, clear golden. Smells like beer. Hint of corn flavor and easy drinkability.

So this is what corn in the malt bill is supposed to take like !
The American Adjunct gets a bad name, but that probably more is because the brewer didn't take the time.
Finest seems to be that. But it doesn't Smell that way, muted; some aromatic hops might help. Looks are slightly better in a style that never looked good to me. Key, Tastes are balanced. Medium-mouthed, an accomplishment given Finest's low carbonation.
I purchased my can from Mikkeller & Friends in Copenhagen's Norreport Food Market. (Go there to get gourmet brew and food.) Lua must know Mikkeller because I've not seen Lua in Chicagoland where I lived until recently.
Anyhow... I'm giving Lua unusually Big Overall Hugs for a 5 year old. Two Reasons. One, they are a serious gastro-pub. Since I am someone who mostly drinks when he eats, thinking about how to brew based on food is something I appreciate. Second, Lua has a much better than average story beyond the typical husband-wife team starts a micro. Besides, they are bringing yeast culture to Des Moines, and that already seems to be appreciated also locally.
