Liminal is a word for the in-between. I's most aptly used to describe events or things that exist at a point of intersection between two divergent states. This moment, for instance, is the liminal space between past and present.
Liminal, the lagerbier, is Polish lager we brewed in collaboration with Goldfinger Brewing Company and Joe Wanderlust. Polish beer, unfortunately, is often overlooked by American consumers who are more familiar with German, English, Belgian, Czech, or even French beer. But Poland produces, by best estimate, more beer than any European country save England and Germany.
Through their pursuit of exemplary traditional styles, our friends at Goldfinger Brewing rightfully have reminded American consumers that Polish lager deserves more limelight.
Perhaps the defining characteristic of this beer is the legendary Tomyski hop also known as Nowotomyski after the Polish town of Nowy Tomysl. Delicate, malty bread notes give way to Tomyskis captivating floral and herbal aroma, while its pale golden hue and natural carbonation invite you to savor every sip.
With Liminal, we use our modern processes to recreate a historical and classic Polish lager.
Liminal exists in the liminal state between past and present, and was brewed for those who appreciate the timeless joy of shared moments and the historic value of traditional lagerbies

Collaboration brew with Goldfinger.
Pours from the side pull with visible effervescence and a foamy cap. Lively, spicy hops on the nose and sip. Well done!

Wow, this one is Fan-freaking-tastic! Perfectly bitter, on par with an ESB or a Czech Pilsner. Crystal clear with white head that fades a bit too rapidly. Clean flavor with dry minerally finish. So much flavor for just 4.2%. I could drink a bunch of these.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
