Stopped at the place on 5/1/2021. had a full pour with pizza. Bought a 750ml crowler for home that was filled 4/23.
This review is both combined.
Look: Dark gold transparent body with nice white head
Smell: bread, floral hops, sweet malt.
Taste: Sweet malt, bread, floral hops (honey from the tap). Abv is well hidden until it gets warmer. Smooth and sweet.
The pour from the tap was better, it seems to have a honey note and more floral hops and more of a toasted bread.
feel: solid, slightly syrupy, plenty of carbonation in the crowler
I like it. I will go with 3.81/5 for the crowler, 4/5 for the tap pour The actual ABV maybe 8.3%?
