L-Pours a nice wheat-like straw colored body with a nice thin, but present head. Slightly hazy body, subtle carbonation.
S-Sweet, phenolic aroma with nodes to Sauvignon Blanc from the Neslon Sauvin hops. Slight citrus comes through as well, followed by woody earthiness and a floral end. As I dig, I find bread/wheat notes.
T-Subtle sweetness at the beginning with a nice bitter bite. Hints of lemon zest and citrus, phenols, and Sauvignon Blanc is there. Floral, earthy and vegetal notes are there. More pronounced hints of nutmeg and coriander towards the back end. The heavier ABV is hidden.
F-Drying mouthfeel reminiscent of a white wine. Subtle carbonation.
O-A nicely done, earthy and rewarding saison from ODD Muse. I like seeing them dabble more into this style compared to their typical New England IPA game. Keep it up!
