We took all of the things we’ve learned about our Lager production over the last year and revamped an old favorite, “Never Ending Sky”, our Helles Lager. This time around, we made the switch to Riverbend Pale Pilsner malt and threw in Pacifica hops to help bring a nice, well-rounded fruitiness to the forefront.

Mashed with 100% Riverbend Pale Pilsner and hopped aggressively with Hallertauer Mittelfruh and Pacifica. Fermented low and slow with our House Lager yeast, sounded for 100% natural carbonation, and Lagered in a Horizontal Tank for many moons. You know how we do.

Notes of Haribo gummies, that first spoonful from a Mandarin Orange fruit cup, a mouthful of soup crackers, fresh-cut grass, and a lovely floral bouquet from that special someone. Light, fruity, crisp, and crushable.

Served in a large beveled mug on draft, appearance is slightly foggy maize gold with a short but dense white head that retains well as a fine film and clinging collar.

Corny and nutty, it runs a full course of savory and sweet then dryingly bitter.

The medium body's firm fizz is very satisfying.

Cloudy yellow pour with a finger of white foam and spotted lacing. Smells of grassy hops with big cracker and bread notes. Taste is way too hoppy, more pale and bitterly grassy than anything, black pepper meets the cracker, lemon pith and bread to form the rest of the taste. Feels pale with considerable hop and bread character, crushable.

Very pale yellow body with nice carbonation; thick and frothy head initially, white and creamy, fades to a thin yet lasting head, still dense and creamy. Fresh, delicate floral scent on the nose. Mild grain base taste; peppery hop bitterness. Light in body; crisp and semi-dry.

This beer delivers some respectable lager goodness. The aroma is quite good.

Poured at 49° F; no canning data noted on the can.
